You never know when an inebriated relative will lean too far back in the chair and take a tumble. In the same breath, take into account the durability. This is a perfect lead in to design. Do you want an eye catching chair, or just one that serves its purpose? Looks matter only as much as you the user believe they do. If you have no qualms against getting a traditionally “ugly” chair, then get it. In the end only your opinion matters, well that and the opinion of the people who actually live with you. Remember keeping yourself happy is the best way to keep your family happy as well.
